Once upon a time there was a 5th GRADE WEBELOS___. His PARENTS___ had helped him and his fellow scouts through their scouting years and they began to reflect.
First came TIGERS___. The parents remembered the TIGER___ searching, discovering and sharing. The PARENTS___ were, indeed, very proud.
Next came the WOLF___ rank. Last year's TIGER___ completed 12 achievements plus his Bobcat badge and the PARENTS___ were even more proud! The WOLF___ stood tall knowing what he had done!
Following came the BEAR___ rank. After TIGER___ and WOLF___, the BEAR___ Cub had 12 even more difficult achievements, learning of duty to God and Country and having lots of fun with his fellow BEARS___. The PARENTS___ watched as their son grew.
As if it was just overnight, the boy became a 4th GRADE WEBELOS___. His PARENTS___, not believing how fast he had grown, looked on in amazement as the 4th GRADE WEBELOS___ earned a variety of specialized pins to help prepare him for the many challenges he would face in life. From TIGER___, to WOLF___, to BEAR___ and now 4th GRADE WEBELOS___ - how very proud we are!
At last the boy became a 5th GRADE WEBELOS___. Building on all he had experienced before, following the Cub Scout Law and the Law of the Pack and visiting a BOY SCOUT___ Troop, he earned the prestigious Arrow of Light. The PARENTS___ remembered all the fun and learning experiences the boy had in Scouting.
Then the TIGERS___, Wolves, BEARS___ and 4th GRADE WEBELOS___ gathered to honor the 5th GRADE WEBELOS___ as they crossed over to BOY SCOUTS___. It was sad to see them leave our Pack, but each boy knew they would see them again soon as they reached BOY SCOUTS___.
We conclude our little story with the wise words of the PARENTS___!
